"Scratch Attack"
As Recorded By The Sonarphonics
Written by James McCauley

Chorus 1:
(DXJ Thru a voccoder):
Scratch Attack, Can't hold Back,

Verse 1a :
(DXJ Thru a voccoder):
I did not feel like dancing, although I felt the groove,
But suddenly it happened, my feet began to move!

Chorus 2:
(DXJ Thru a voccoder):
Scratch Attack!  Scratch Attack!  Scratch Attack!

Verse 2:
A different kind of rhythm, a different kind of beat, scratching is what's happening, it's the rhythm of the street!

Rap 1:
(DXJ thru Harmonizer)
: My name is J and I used to say that I was the king of rap, but now I've got a brand new bag and they call me DJ Scratch!

Chorus 1:
(DXJ Thru a voccoder):
Scratch Attack, Can't hold Back,

Rap 2:
(DXJ thru Harmonizer)
: My name is Slick and I used to mix all the latest jams, 'til my tables turned over and just like rover they call me DJ Scratch !

Verse 3:
(DXJ Thru a voccoder):
If you want to dance, and you want to groove, listen to the scratch, make your body move!

Chorus :
(DXJ Thru a voccoder):
Scratch Attack,

Verse 1b :
(DXJ Thru a voccoder):
I did not feel like dancing, although I felt the groove,
But suddenly it happened, my feet could not refuse!

Invisoclam's review of "Scratch Attack" by the Sonarphonics:

Although, extremely primitive and low budget, this song would build the frame work for the future "Miami Bass'' style promulgated by DXJ. Turntables, high pitched vocals, keyboards, voccoders and general silliness.

InvisoRating:

Po Funky Blah!

Scratch Attack gets an InvisoRating of a giant squid, due to the rarity of this particular type of song for the Jamron Crew.
