We are the Raiders of the Missing Beat, looking for those who like to freak,

Rap:
(Mitch Cason):
We searched long and hard for a beat that's tough,
(Vincent "Cool Ice" Palmer): In a world surrounded by Pretty Phony stuff,
(Mitch Cason): People hearing music, claiming that they'll dance,
(Mitch, James, and Vincent): Singing like zombies in a trance!
(Vincent "Cool Ice" Palmer): Then one night we partied with the "Nation of Sweat"
(Mitch Cason): And discovered a groove that was downright jet!
Vincent "Cool Ice" Palmer): Everyone was dancing, no one had a chair,
(Mitch, James, and Vincent): They all got down like they just didn't care!

Invisoclam's guide to what were they talking about for "Raiders of the Lost Groove" by the Empyre:

Having to endure the constant bombardment and mind numbing effects of the airwave robbing contemporaries of the day proved too much for The Empyre. Among those guilty of groove-robbing at the time were: Pretty Phony and the No Style Express who at the time had infested the sector with "When I hear Music" by Little Debbie Deb. Having decided that was enough, they felt it was their duty to rescue the Miami Electro sound by going back to find the missing grooves and lost beats of funk and soul and deliver them to the people who like to jam and party so much that they are perpetually in a state of sweat from dancing, thus the name..."The Nation of Sweat".

At least that's what I get from it!
