Radio Mars! If you haven't read the home page of the site, please go to it now! We have, as many of you already may know , been working on a new album of songs done in the classic style of the Jamron - early 80's period of of Miami  Electro! At this point all of the drum machine parts and the keyboard parts have been recorded, last week we started doing the vocals and voccoder parts. It is slow going for various reasons, and we have no label committed yet, however your patience will reward you with that old school electro sound that  you crave!

June 15, 2002

It's Here! The Electro Jamz From The Vaults of Jamron Records CD! Something brand new for you in the double 0' 2!

December 21, 2001

Ok, it's been a while, but it's been kind of hectic, and we haven't done any up dates in while on this site, or the Maggotron.com Site. As for the new songs we have been working on with that old school flavor, we are waiting for the record company to finish up on the construction of their new studio, once it is done we will start to record, fans from back in the day you will not be disappointed!

Also we must announce that we have no more JR001'S "Raiders of The Lost Groove" for sale. We are all out, there is a chance that Ron may have some stashed away some where, and when he is able to he will check, but until then, we a have a small amount of 002's and a dwindling supply of 003's...so if you have been on the fence, about ordering, now's the time, cause once they are gone they are gone, at least this batch if original pressings in this form.

As far as he Jams from The Vaults Cd, we are at the mercy of the label... again contact  them at  empiremusicwerks.com and demand it! Nicely of course!

Please contact them in about 5 weeks and bug them alright! Also I completed a  continuous re-mix of some of their catalog for release on Empiremusicwerks thru BMG. The Title of the collection is Super Bass.. Original Old School Booty Shakers. Here is a list of the songs so far. (This is not the order of the songs and some tracks may be deleted).

Now, I know that all of you serious hard core collectors out there probably have all of these, however, there are a lot people out there, to whom this stuff is new/rare and hard to get. Also the songs have been remixed and in some cases  and remastered and then mixed and assembled By  DXJ! What more can you ask for! Also the new song collection that I have been working for more than a year may end up at Empire as well! I am working on the last song and a soon as it is done (in the preproduction stage) I am going to shop it around.

Also Check out our other new site loaded up last week!

The much anticipated CD is still on hold for the moment as there are circumstances beyond our control going on with HOTJWPMUSIC.COM . When the time is right for them the CD will be released! We are still creating and "stockpiling" new jams for future projects as well! If you visit the web site of the "Anti-Bass" you will notice that they still release tracks by us on the "DB Jams" collections, and yet they still have not fully paid up on the past!

March 24, 2001

Posted Review of Miami New Times Interview. Dodged pieces of old equipment thrown at me by DXJ for posting horrendous photograph on site.

March 18, 2001

Lyrics added for "Mommy What's a Bassonlian?" and "Bassonlian Attack" both of which were recorded by DXJ and the Bassonlians. That's about it for now.

March 11, 2001

Review of the interview/article "Bass Time Continuum" and Review of Miami Bass Express in URB Magazine's  Issue 082 March 2001. Next week, there should be an interview in Miami New Times about DXJ/Maggotron, check back to see when the interview/article is published! Electro Jams from the vaults of Jamron is being manufactured and will be available very soon. New tracks for upcoming BassMekanik.Com project are starting to have a decided "Old School Flavor" to them...patience y'all, patience.

February 10, 2001

This week I was able to get by and check the art work for the new CD, that is the only hold up, the keyboard on the cover, well it does not look like a keyboard, that and a few other minor corrections... posted the lyrics to "Scratch Attack" and ''Beneath The Planet Detroit"

January 28, 2001

Finished up the reviews of reviews section for now, it may be expanded to other reviews that are not from the internet one day.

January 21, 2001

Worked on the reviews of reviews  section... if you have clicked on to that part of the site before, you should revisit since it has been cleaned up and a few more reviews were found by Invisoclam and they have been commented on by him! Also I posted the lyrics to Computer Pop and Computer Funk. Last week I was finally able to get by and check the art work, overall it looks cool, however a few minor adjustments need to be made, after that it will be ready for production. This week I will start to post lyrics for the upcoming CD.

January 07,2001

More tweaks to the website, including the news section. Started on information for Compilation CD. Next up, track information and lyrics for the new CD.

December 30, 2000

Added the equipment page and touched up a few things here and there on the web site. On the music front, starting next week, completion of the "Jamron Classics From The Vault" should be nearing!

December 12, 2000

More additions to the Web site, also last week started negotiations for a project for Bassmekanik.com. Also more work on future songs.

November 19, 2000

Put the songs in order for the forthcoming Jamron CD " New Electro Classics from The Vaults", also put the songs for the 12'' in order. Reviewed the mastering specs with the engineer, who will master the two projects at his convenience. I still must get with the art department... Finished pre-production on another Old School Electro Style track for future release as well as some more web site updating. DXJ was interviewed for an upcoming issue  of "Urb" magazine.

October 15, 2000

Posted some information about the tracks from the vault-  click it baby!  for that page.

October 8, 2000

Cleared up the error with the guest book ... "read" and "sign"... links. On Friday the 6th of October we finally made it in to the studio to do the transferring of the unreleased and rare tracks from the vaults, so that project is moving forward, now the next step is to pick which songs to put out... there is enough material for 2 cd's worth of jams! As far as which song or songs will end up on a  limited edition 12" that must also be decided. I will try and post a list of titles and descriptions this week of the songs, I may even post some lyrics!

September 29, 2000

Well, got bumped from the studio again, so that will be rescheduled, so I took the time to hook up a guest book, a message board and a chat room... enjoy and get busy!

September 24 2000

Lyrics for "Return to the Planet Detroit" and "Escape Devoid" added as well as a few touch ups on some things as well as a few more graphics here and there. Also added some links to outside sites that you will find on the graphics here and there... DXJ was supposed to go to the studio to sort out the old tapes, but alas that was canceled and rescheduled for next week. DXJ also has begun work on yet another old school track... just stock piling them up for now!

September 17,2000

The Lyrics and other info are up for "Prelude" . Added graphics here and there. Extensive work on the JamronProps section . We did an interview for ElectroEmpire.com  which is up on their site. The old tapes are all ready and assembled and we are scheduled to go into the studio on 9/22/2000 to start assembling a collection of Jamron Jams from out of the vaults! Also all of our pre production is done on the new track we have been working on... soon very soon!

August 28,2000

Still working on the new songs and in the in between time managed to get the lyrics up on the site for Raiders, Strikin' Back, Bass it Baby and Radio Mars, along with other minor additions to the site.

July 29,2000

Currently we are doing pre-production for some new songs done in the style of 80's Miami-Electro, using vintage equipment from the era! One or more of these tracks will  possibly be included on a new collection of previously un-released songs that we found in the vaults, songs that were recorded by us in the early 80's! Included in this collection of songs is a track recorded at the same time "Computer Pop" by Maggotron was recorded, the song is called "Scratch Attack" and the vocals are done using the same voccoder that was used on "Computer Pop". Another song of interest is a track that features "Palmer Force 2" called "Suburban Reality" this song was recorded just before the classic "Radio Mars" was recorded. Speaking of "Radio Mars" there are several mixes of that song laying around so one of those is bound to make it on the collection as well!  We are negotiating with a distributor at this time to try and make this possible! Check in with us later for more details!

The Empyre has a new song on the "Bass Alien" CD,  that is only available at: BassMekanik.Com . The track is called "Funk Nebulae" and is an instrumental song done in a sort of Old School/ Miami Bass style. The CD also features tracks from several other Miami producers and Artists, including of course the Bass Mekanik.

We are working on getting this website up along with Maggotron.Com to keep all of you informed! In the meantime, visit our old website at http//Planetbass.webjump.com until we convert and add to that information.
